OFC serves care workers, anyone whose labor involves showing up for others inside systems that often fail to show up for them. Educators, nurses, social workers, therapists, community organizers, early childhood professionals, youth workers, public health staff, and more. If you hold other people’s pain as part of your work, OFC was built with you in mind.
A few things. First, OFC is BIPOC-led and rooted in healing justice — a tradition that connects personal healing to collective liberation. Our facilitators carry cultural lineages and ancestral practices that most wellness programs don’t touch. Second, OFC brings care workers from different sectors together — teachers, nurses, organizers, social workers — and creates the conditions for them to discover their shared wound. That cross-sector model is rare and intentional. Third, OFC is not a bandage. We are not here to help you tolerate the intolerable a little longer. We’re here to transform how you approach your work.
Never. OFC spaces are opt-in at every level. You bring what you want to bring, share what you want to share, and hold the rest. Our facilitators create a container and they don’t pressure anyone into vulnerability.
OFC is organized as an LLC, fiscally sponsored by the Peace Development Fund, a 501(c)(3). This means tax-deductible contributions can be made through the Peace Development Fund. Direct contributions via PayPal or Venmo are not tax-deductible.
